UEFI/BIOS Firmware Update on EKF SC6-TANGO: =========================================== A UEFI/BIOS firmware update is accomplished by programming the SPI (*1) flash memory on EKF SC6-TANGO. If an error occurs during programming (which is very unlikely), try batchfile PS.bat once more BEFORE the system is reset - When finished successfully, restart the system with either a) Reset-button (reset hole, labelled RB, in front panel of SC6-TANGO) b) A power-off-on sequence c) Pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL WARNING: Do not interrupt the programming procedure in order to avoid damage of the SPI firmware. Programming takes about 75 seconds when the 8 MB firmware binary is loaded from an USB-Stick. The new UEFI/BIOS is present after resetting the system. Note that all UEFI/BIOS Setup parameter will be reset to default settings. (*1) SPI = Serial Peripheral Interface Any questions? Send an Email to support@ekf.de 2019-05-24 EKF
